Spin-out Companies
Radisurf
RadiSurf was founded in 2015 as a spin-out company from Aarhus University in Denmark. It was initially based on patented technology, with the goal of providing novel and modern adhesion technologies, derived from our intensive knowledge of surface chemistry. In 2021, the company was sold to the American investment firm KCK and fused with Yield Engineering Systems in 2025.
Danish Graphene
Danish Graphene was established in 2020 as a spin-out company from Aarhus University. The company aims to electrochemically synthesize and tailor graphene – a material with huge potential. Already, their graphene solutions have found value in the space sector, where an innovative graphene-containing epoxy adhesive was found to improve heat conductivity in thermal interface materials. This invention helped secure funding from the European Space Agency in 2023. More information about Danish Graphene can be found at the company website: www.danishgraphene.com
